Help End HIV this Valentine's Day

ending HIV

On Friday, February 14th from 6pm-8pm, Connections Nightclub will be hosting the launch of ‘Ending HIV’. This will be a fun night out and an opportunity to come out and show support. There will be a free drink on arrival and a chance to win one of three iPad Airs 64 Gb 4G/Wifi. Two iPad Airs will be given away on the night and one given away at Fairday. So put the date and time into your calendar and come out and say “I’m in!” on the night.

Together we can end HIV. We now know that to end the epidemic once and for all, it is going to take all of us joining in and doing our part. This means getting tested more often, getting treated early if diagnosed with HIV, and maintaining safer sex practices – including using condoms.

But It’s one thing to just ask a question and an entirely different thing to ask a question and do something about it.

This month, the annual Pride Fairday will be held on Sunday, February 16th.  This is another chance to join in and show support. Come see us at the WA AIDS Council stand and get your photos taken in ‘Ending HIV’ singlets or undies.

We know we can END HIV! By showing your support, attending these great events and joining IN, we know we will end HIV much quicker.

You may start to see the ENDING HIV message more and more around the community and the country. This will give all of us an opportunity to stop and ask if I am doing what I can to help END HIV or what more I could be doing. For more information about ENDING HIV or to join in go to www.endinghiv.org.au

If you would like more information on testing or where you can get tested for HIV and STIs, go to itest.org.au or contact the M Clinic (for men who have sex with men) at (08) 9227 0734.
