Channel Ten have announced that ‘Wake Up’ Producer Adam Boland has taken leave following the launch of the new breakfast program.
Colleagues have reportedly been concerned about Boland’s stress levels in the lead up to the launch of the new show and upon receipt of it’s first ratings numbers.
Today the ‘West Australian’ described the show as having “Snooze Factor”, reporting that it only drew 4000 viewers in Perth on Tuesday morning.
Boland has been open previously about his challenges with bi-polar disorder.
Rob McKnight, the executive producer of ‘Studio 10’, will take over as the executive producer of ‘Wake Up’ until Boland returns.
