The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) has revealed they may be eliminating a nationwide ban on gay members, which is currently in place. Rather than have a blanket ban across the whole organisation, the BSA has suggested leaving it up to chartered organisations to decide.
Each preference will depend on each organisations religious values, missions and principles. Although not completely removing discrimination, the move has been commended by gay rights activists.
