Dean Cahill – Pride Commitee 2007

Dean CahillI am looking forward to working with everyone to achieve all the personal goals that I have made to myself since I came onto the Pride Committee in 2001. As Convener for Fairday over the last 5 years I have watched it grow from year to year and I am very proud of what I have achieved. Now I would like to do the same with the Parade, I would love to bring the streets of Perth to a stand-still on our Pride night. I want it to be the biggest and best parade Perth has ever seen, and I know it is hard work but I am looking forward to working very hard and closely with all the groups to make sure this happens.

With my management skills I have learnt how to run a business from the ground up and these are the skills that I am hoping to bring to the Pride organization. I bring over 17 years of management skills to the committee. Plus with that I have been working with various groups volunteering my time since the age of eight.

My vision is to make your Pride the biggest and best organisation that Perth has ever seen. I want to make sure that we all unite under one banner and that everyone is treated equally. I would like to see everyone, and that includes you, become a member of Pride and show your support to help us grow from strength to strength.
