The Scissor Sisters have announced their new album will be called Magic Hour and will be released in May. The next single of the album will be a track called Only the Horses, which has been produced by Calvin Harris.

Speaking to OUTinPerth earlier this year front man Jake Shears described the album as having a great vibe, ‘it’s got a great vibe to it. It’s very summery, very upbeat: it’s about love and friendship…It’s very beat driven with a lot of crazy crazy beats on it. The first thing people hear from it, their jaws are going to be on the floor. People are not going to believe what we are doing.’

The new album will be the band’s fourth album of material, their last album Night Work was released in 2010.
