PICYS Cracks Up

Twelve of Perth’s best comedians are banding together on the 8th of December at the Laugh Resort Comedy Lounge to raise money for Perth Inner City Youth Services in the 3rd annual StANd uP 4 Street KiDs fundraiser. PICYS provide assistance to young people in need of housing or literacy, household budgeting and other essential everyday skills, and have been at the forefrontof ensuring that young people of diverse sexuality and gender also have access to these vital services. Event Co-ordinator Dianah Star said that she often sees young people being asked to ‘move on’ in Northbridge, and this event helps to ensure that there is funding to give young people somewhere safe to move on to.

StANd uP 4 Street KiDS is at the Hyde Park Hotel Comedy Lounge. It costs $20/$15 and starts at 8.30pm. You can book through www.bocsticketing.com.au or on 9321 6831.
