Lesbian Sex in Singapore

Mass Effect's lesbian scene doesn't include so much as a kissXbox 360 recently released a game Mass Effect that stirred up massive controversy in Singapore. The game allows individuals playing as a female character to choose to have a lesbian encounter with a female alien. As a result, the game was originally banned in Singapore. That decision has since been reversed and the game will be distributed with an M18 rating.

With all that censorship, the scene has to be worth watching right? Well… as it turns out most versions of the scene don’t even include a kiss (though PinkNews.co.uk reported that one version of the scene did have breast nudity).

However, that’s not all that’s up for debate with the game. Gay rights activists are questioning why if female characters can get it on with female or male aliens, the male characters don’t have the same choice. To make the debates even more complicated, all the human on human loving is straight.

Seems the message at the end of the day is it’s okay to be gay, so long as your partner is an alien and you’re a woman… and even then, best not to try it in Singapore.

HAVE YOUR SAY: Check out the video on YouTube, then tell us what you think. Was the clip worth all the fuss? Was it right for Mass Effect to have included a lesbian scene, but no gay male scenes?
