Ryan Dan – Ryan Dan

I haven’t cringed this much since 1995, when I took my six year-old nephew to see the movie Babe; he threw up all over me after the opening abattoir scene and then announced to his mother when we returned home that he was turning vegetarian. What? I can hear you scream, has this got to do with a CD review of Ryan Dan? Well, after the opening track, Like the Sun, I did just that – threw up! Overlaid with sentimentality, over produced, unrestrained vibrato… .I guess you could say I was over it. Even the eye-candy looks of these two twins couldn’t save this one from being a total turkey. If you don’t believe me, tune in to Track 6 and hear these two slaughter Wind Beneath My Wings, but be warned stay very close to the bathroom!
